Where should I go to check-in on August 5 and 6?

Two weeks before the Institute, we will send you an email with instructions for class location and event check in.

We strongly encourage everyone to check in on Monday August 5. Check-in on August 5 from Noon – 4 p.m. and August 6 from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. Check-in will occur at the OSU – Cascades Campus at 1500 SW Chandler Avenue in Bend, Oregon. At check-in, you will receive a name tag, a parking pass, a schedule, and your session location with a map of the campus.

What is included in my registration cost?

Tuition includes registration, course materials, breakfast, lunch and midday snacks for all four days of the institute. Breathtaking views of the Cascades mountains are free of charge.

What will I need to bring to my session?

Two weeks before the Institute, we will send you an email with a list of what to bring for your session. Your presenter may also contact you directly with further information on what to bring to your session. Please periodically check your email in the weeks leading up to the API Cascades.

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to use throughout the week.

Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the OSU – Cascades campus.

What meals will be provided at the training?

Breakfast, lunch and midday snacks will be provided for all four days of the Institute, August 6-9.

Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions?

Our lunches will accommodate vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions. Due to the large size of the event, we cannot guarantee accommodations for other dietary needs. Please indicate your dietary restrictions when you register.

What will parking look like at the AP® Summer Institute?

Attendees will receive a parking pass for the campus upon check-in.

What is the deadline to register?

The deadline to register for the API Cascades Summer Institute is July 26 at 5 p.m. Walk-in registrations will not be accepted after this time. Please be aware that courses could be cancelled due attendance requirements. We strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible.

What is the deadline to cancel my registration?

You can cancel your registration by accessing the Cvent registration site and entering the email address that was used during registration and by providing your confirmation number. Once you’re logged in, you are able to cancel your registration.

How do I update my registration or change my course?

To make an update to your registration or change your course, please contact apicinfo@hdesd.org.
